Mountain to the Sea - Waka Ama and Guided Mauao Walk

Immerse yourself in true Tauranga culture from the Mountain to the Sea, escorted by our local guides on waka ama canoes, walking our ancestral mountain, Mauao.

Cultural Walk of Mount Maunganui

Our guided walks of Mount Maunganui are perfect for those wanting to connect with local māori and explore the coastal/communal landscapes our area has to offer. We share kōrero about our cultural history and the environmental significance.

Whānau Beach Day

Come hang with us! A day at the beach with your family or work group of 20 people or more. Stand up paddling and waka ama included along with two gazebos, mats and tables. Just bring food and swimwear!

Walk and Workshop - Mount Maunganui

Enjoy a guided walk around the ancestral mountain, Mauao, and partake in a workshop choosing Rāranga (weaving) or Rongoā (plant medicine).
